My finger still hurts from when I dropped a rather hefty set drawings/desktop on it...although it didn't come out broken. My brain is very much mush right now...and I have much to do and finte time to do it. I don't need motivation, I need a job that isn't killing me...I come home and I'm done...it's awful...

I'm entirely sure what I'm posting tonight...I feel mostly out of it and probably need to eat something but the whole thought of dealing with the kitchen at this hour right now is really unappealing. I had pondered posting song lyrics but decided against it or least shelved the idea right this second. Other than thinking I need to start a bidness (which is a real challege with no bidness plan, capitol, or ideas), no great ideas have struck me...

no wires good...most excellent to be able to use laptop anywhere in house. I'm tired and worn out and generally feeling a lack of anything interesting to post. Happy 40th to the Porsche 911. Although I have to admit to being kinda of purist and really consider the last real 911 to be the aircooled 993.

I'm not sure I like the blogger interface, it took me needless clicking and poking to finally type in the box...very annoying...
I have been extraordinary lax in posting, although there is not much of anything going on as far as notable events. Work continues to be taxing drudgery while school has begun and ended up being moderately taxing although interesting. My Toshiba begin its death rattle which preceded christa's all out crash. I caved and bought a new computer for the first time in five years...which is the how and why of posting from an iBook right now...I am very pleased with it. I've gotten it pretty well setup with Office and X11 (although I haven't delved into getting Gnome to run in window yet) plus Bochs which apparently emulates an x86 via software and allows full monitoring/picking/probing/prodding of a virtual machine. I haven't played with that either and it seems to be overkill to get trillian...which is sadly deficit on both *nix and Max support.
Yes, this post is on 9/11 and, no, I don't really have any thought regarding this day other than disgust at the whole spectacle. The war on terror which has become a joke, the war in Afghanistan which has been forgotten, the war in Iraq which has nothing to do with either other than the main foe speaks Arabic...
